Laurencia’s Wedding

I was booked early this year for Laurencia’s all day traditional wedding ceremony with 2 outfit changes including makeup on her lovely mum. My services was booked without a trial but we scheduled a consultation session closer to her wedding date to pick out her preferred looks.

Her prep location was at the beautiful Laura Ashley,The manor located at Elstree.

Starting her makeup, I cleansed her face and gave it a good spray of MAC fix + spray. Laurencia has combination skin so the spray was used as her moisturiser.

Makeup below is different from the makeup we agreed on during her consultation session. The colours on her gele (head tie) and jewelleries were completely different to what she chose for her trial. It would have badly clashed.

Her eyebrows were groomed using MAC brow pencil in spiked and stud. The striking blue shade is a mix of blue eyeshadows from Juvia’s place eyeshadow palette in Masquerade and the Nubian 2nd edition.

Laurencia wanted drama lashes so I used one of my favourite glam lashes – Khadija by Lashes by Accessory Circus.

I prepped her skin using Becca ever matte poreless priming perfector and foundation used was Lancome Teint Idole Ultra foundation in 13. I concealed and highlighted under her eyes using MAC pro long wear concealer in NW40 which was set using RCMA no colour loose powder.

The rest of her face was set with MAC studio fix powder in NW43 and 45 for extra coverage. I then dusted MAC blush in ambering rose to add warmth to her face and Bobbi brow shimmer brick in bronze for shimmer highlight.

The whole look was finished off with MAC lipstick in Dubonnet.

For her second look, I wiped off the blue and used primarily MAC eyeshadows in Electra and Silver ring all over the lids. I then added Urban Decay’s glitter liner in glamrock all over the moving part of the lid. This looked so stunning when the light caught it!

On her lips is a mix MAC lipsticks in Pink Nouveau and Lovelorn.

Laurencia looked so beautiful! Thank you so much for booking my services. It was a pleasure working with you and your family.
