A Bridal Inspiration with Alex

This year more than any year, I’ve had the most requests from Brides requesting no images to be taken and put up on social media. When this happens, I always try to recreate the look on a model to showcase the look in detail.

I contacted Alex a stunning Beauty Influencer and she agreed to the collaboration 🙂

This look was for a Nigerian traditional Wedding. I was able to recreate the makeup look on Alex.

I was lucky to receive a PR package from Huda Beauty which included her Ruby Obsessions palette. This palette was used to create this stunning eye look – A smoked out burgundy eye. The eyes was actually done first and I built the rest of the look based off the eyes. I finished off the eyes with some bold eyelashes for added drama that also added a wow factor to the eyes.

Foundation base used was Fenty Beauty Instant retouch primer followed by Fenty Beauty Pro filter foundation in 440. Concealer used was Sleek life proof concealer followed by OPV beauty loose powder.

Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Vampira completed the look. You can always pair these eyes with a nude lip to achieve a toned down version.

The bride wore a stunning gold beaded outfit paired with deep burgundy head gear.

Really enjoyed creating the original look and recreating it again 🙂
