Tola’s Wedding

Tola is the amazing CEO of Charis Hair. It was an absolute pleasure being a part of her Wedding. This was her traditional Wedding which took place in Birmingham.

She had about 4 outfit changes and 3 makeup looks for them. As with most traditional weddings involving multiple changes, it can be a tad tricky getting amazing images due to the rush. Unfortunately this happened to me and I was only able to get good shots of her in this particular outfit.

Tola is blessed with beautiful skin so doing her base was a breeze! After my usual cleanse and hydrate routine, I applied Becca Ever matte primer. I normally use this primer on Combination to oily skin to keep shine at bay for an extended time.

On her eyebrows, I used Evita Joseph brow pencil in Chestnut brown.

Foundation used – NARS All day luminous foundation in shades Cadiz and Macao. Concealer was also by NARS, I used the creamy concealer in Caramel with just a tiny Biscuit to highlight under her eyes. This was set using Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. I also dusted MAC fix + powder foundation in Shades 45 and 50 across her face for added coverage. Tola requested an absolute flawless skin coverage 🙂

Blush used was by MAC in the shade breezy. I switched to loose powder highlighter which I tend to do if I require the highlight to “Pop”. Highlight used was by Fenty Beauty in the shade 24kray.

On her eyes, I started with Huda beauty melted shadow in Bamboo which acted as an eye base. I then used Peaches makeup pigments in Nude and Gatsby to create this alluring eye look on Tola. This was finished off with drama lashes for some oomph!

To achieve these lips, I first lined her entire lips using MAC lip liner in Cherry, followed by Coloured Raine liquid lipstick in Cherry blossom.

How beautiful does Tola look?! Can’t for the White Wedding coming up soon! Congratulation again Tola!
