Yinka’s Destination Wedding

My lovely US based bride – Yinka booked me without a trial for a destination wedding in Ravello, Amalfi, Italy. The booking was for her, sister and mum.

I flew out a day to the wedding where I was met at the airport by my chauffeur to my hotel courtesy of the bride.

This would be my 3rd time working in this beautiful resort town, well known for catering to weddings every single day of the week.

As if to prove me right, there was wedding happening right next to where I was dropped off 🙂

Hotel I stayed – Hotel Giordano. Best customer service ever! The staffs were so friendly and ever helpful.

Next day being the wedding day, I made my way to the brides hotel which was a 4minute walk from mine – The Palazzo Avino hotel.

Met my bride and her family for the first time, absolutely lovely ladies.

After my set up I began makeup on the brides mum, sister and then the bride.

Yinka was very conscious of her oily skin and the hot weather so I only cleansed her skin and gave it a few sprays of MAC fix + spray.

Her brows were filled in using Anastasia Beverly hills brow definer in Dark brown.

My bride really wanted her makeup soft and natural, so I stuck to neutral shades using my Lorac pro eyeshadow palette. Finished off on her eyes with Ardell Wispies lashes.

Becca ever matter poreless primer was used all over her face followed with Lancome Teint idole ultra foundation in the shade 13. Under her eyes I used a mix of NARS creamy concealer in Amande and MAC prolong wear concealer in NW40. This was set using YSL souffle d’eclat loose powder in 04 followed by MAC blot powder all over the face to set the foundation.

On her cheeks I dusted MAC blush in Breezy and Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz.

I stayed on to make sure she was picture perfect all through the ceremony to the official photography session before leaving.
