Ojali’s Wedding

Ojali first got in contact July 2017 and booked me for her pre-wedding photoshoot taking place at The Landmark Hotel with Photographer – Adebayo Deru. The session went really well and she got back in contact a few days later and booked me for her 2018 wedding.

She was very happy with the pre-wedding makeup but wanted a trial to test out something different. We however stuck to her preference of a warm yet neutral look.

On the wedding day I made my way to her prep location in Cobham. Hairstylist – Naturalgloe was finishing up when I arrived.

Ojali has normal skin that goes oily or dry depending on the weather. As the day had a very hot weather warning I prepared her skin for this. Cleansing using Garnier micellar water and hydrating with Smashbox primer water.

Her eyebrows were filled in using Evita Joseph brow pencil and combed through using MAC brow gel in show off.

MAC paint pot in Laying low was used to prep her eyelids. To achieve this look I used my Urban decay naked palette finished off with ingot gel liner in 77. She had individual lashes installed already.

Because Ojali’s skin has a tendency to go dry, instead of going in immediately with Becca ever matte poreless primer. I used my fingers to massage in embryolisse lait cream then applied the Becca ever matte primer over it.

Foundation used was Lancome Teint Idole in shades 14 & 16 with a pea sized amount of 15 also added. To brighten under her eyes I used NARS creamy concealer in Cafe which was set using Laura mercier loose setting powder in medium deep. The rest of her face was softly powdered with MAC studio fix powder in NW55.

I gently defined her features using MAC studio fix powder in NW58 and highlighted using Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz. Blush used was MAC blush in Raizin.

On her lips, I started with MAC lipliner in Chestnut and filled in starting with Dose of colour liquid lipstick in Stone and then MAC lipstick in Half n half. I don’t remember using a lipgloss.

How radiant does Ojali look in her spectacular dress! Like Gorgeous!
