Melanin Beauty – Nadine contacted and booked me April this year. She did insist on a consultation a few weeks to the wedding. She has sensitive skin and was extremely wary of too much products on her face.
We met up a week to the wedding for her trial where she informed me of her allergy to “Aloe vera”. I had to screen all products used, especially skin care and we agreed on a look.
On her wedding day I arrived at her home where the hairstylist – Luscurls was finishing up on her hair.
After setting up I began on her makeup starting off with cleansing the skin and hydrating using MAC essential Oils due to her normal to dry skin. Her brows were now filled in using Evita Joseph brow pencil in Midnight drop.
On her eyes I worked with The Balm cosmetics eye palette in Nude dude to create this barely there natural eye look finishing off with my most natural pair of lashes.
Foundation used was Bobbi brown Skin long weightless foundation in Cool expresso which was mixed with MAC essential oil to make it more hydrating for Nadine’s dry skin. Dark circles under her eyes were concealed using Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist super natural concealer in 09 which was set using Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Medium deep.
Nadine was quite adamant regarding Highlighting and contouring – She did not want it. To meet her in the middle I used a highlighting blush as her beautiful skin required some glow. I used MAC blush in Hard to get which gave her skin a beautiful radiance!
To finish up her look I customised a nude lip colour from my lip palette which looked absolutely stunning and complimented the whole look.
How Melanin gorgeous does Nadine look in her dress! Absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for booking my services!
