Linda’s Wedding

Linda’s Wedding was booked via her sister Stephanie early this year without a trial.

It was lovely meeting Linda for the first time on the wedding day, she was so calm and well collected.

Waited for the hairstylist Andree Marie to finish prep on her hair before I began…

Linda had primarily oily skin with some pigmentation across her face. I cleansed her skin with Lancome Eau Micellaire Douceur and a spray of MAC fix + spray for hydration. I didn’t use any moisturiser on her face.

While the fix + spray did its magic on her face, I groomed her brows using MAC spiked brow pencil and primed her eyelids using MAC paint pot in Painterly.

I used a selection of champagne hues from the Lorac pro eyeshadow palette and finished off by lining her eyes and applying lashes – Ardell 120.

Primer used to combat her oily areas was Becca ever matte poreless primer. I then used a beauty blender to apply an orange corrector to the pigmented areas of her face to correct the tone. If you apply foundation over pigmented areas without a corrector, those areas show up grey and dull.

Foundation used was a mix of Black opal foundations and MAC pro long wear concealer in NW45 to highlight under her eyes. I also added a bit of LA girl hd pro concealer in fawn for added highlight under the eyes.

I set this using Laura Mercier Loose setting powder in Translucent and the rest of her face with MAC studio fix powder in NW45/50.

Definition was added to her face by contouring using MAC studio fix powder in NW58 and highlighting using Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz. Blush used was a mix of MAC raizin and NARS blush in Orgasm.

The whole look was finished by firstly lining her lips using MAC lip pencil in chestnut and filling in using MAC lipstick in Peachstock, this was blotted to make the colour more natural looking against her skin. Charlotte Tilbury lip lustre in Blondie was applied all over her lips which added more oomph to her lips.

Linda looked so adorable as the hairstylist finished off on the hair. I had to rush off to my next client so missed out on seeing her dress 🙁

Many thanks for the patronage Linda, It was a Joy working with you 🙂
