Rosemary’s Wedding

Makeup done on Rosemary has to be the simplest look I’ve done on a bride in years! Right from when she contacted and booked me in January 2017 I knew she was not a fan of makeup overly done.

We met up a few months to her wedding to select and finalise her look.

On the wedding day I hitched a ride with her hairstylist – Charis hair to her wedding location – Northbrook park.

Rosemary is blessed with beautiful clear skin, prep on her was very quick.

Her brows were filled in using MAC brow pencil in spiked followed by MAC brow gel in show off. This was used to add a hint of colour tint to the brows.

I used only 2 eyeshadows from the Lorac pro eye palette – Pewter on the moving lids and expresso at the outer edges to blend out pewter. This was finished off with Ingot gel liner in 77 and natural looking lashes.

My recent favourite primer was used – Ponds vanishing cream (very oily). Foundation – Nars all day luminous weightless foundation in a mix of Benares and Khartoum.

To brighten under her eyes I used NARS creamy concealer in Cafe which was set with Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Medium deep.

I didn’t contour, only highlighted her beautiful skin using Bobbi brown shimmer brick in Bronze. Blush used was MAC blush in Raizin.

To finish off the look I lined the outer perimeters of her lips very slightly using MAC lip liner in Chestnut and filled in using MAC lipstick in Lovelorn. This was blotted down as she wanted just a soft wash of colour of the lips.

Rosemary’s look was remarkably simple but it suited her personality and she glowed as a bride.

It was a pleasure working with you Rosemary. God bless.
