I was booked without a trial for Naiomi’s Wedding to secure me for her wedding date.
We met up for her consultation a month to the wedding. One thing was immediately certain, she wanted the colour purple incorporated into her eye look. We just needed to ascertain the perfect shade to suit her.
On her wedding day, I made my way to her prep location – The beautiful Yacht hotel – Sunborn Hotel London.
Starting her makeup, I began by thoroughly cleansing her skin using Bioderma Micelle solution and spraying her entire face with MAC fix +. Her lips were prepped with Creme de la Mer lip balm.
Her brows were filled in using MAC brow pencil in spiked and MAC eyeshadow in Swiss chocolate.
One her eyes, I firstly primed with MAC paint pot in Soft ochre, then I used a mix of MAC Vibrant grape & plum dressing as the transition colour. On the main lids I pressed on MAC eyeshadow in Twinks and Urban eyeshadow from the Urban Decay electric palette applied on the middle to outer lid. I made sure Twinks and Urban were softly blended in the middle to avoid the stark difference between the 2 colours.
I then deepened the crease using MAC eyeshadow in Shadowy lady. Eyelid and waterline was lined using Ingot gel liner in 77.
The eyes were finished off using Ardell Lashes in 120 and some mascara to blend her lashes to the strip lashes.
I then moved on to the skin which I primed using Smashbox foundation primer. Foundation used was Lancome Foundation – 13. Under eye concealer used was Kevyn Aucoin Sensual skin enhancer in 13 which was applied using a damp beauty blender sponge. This was set using MAC studio fix powder in NW40.
Using a large fluffy brush, I then set the rest of the face with MAC studio fix powder in a mix of Nw45 and NC50 and then using a small tapered brush I patted on MAC blot powder just to her t-zones.
To contour I used MAC studio fix powder in NW58 and to highlight I used Becca Highlight powder in Topaz. Blush used was MAC blush in Breezy.
The whole look was completed by lining the lips with MAC lip liner in Chestnut, Dose of colour lip stain in Stone and Orgasm Lip gloss by NARS cosmetics.
