Lisa’s Wedding

My Jamaican Bride – Lisa! Love her! Very bubbly and full of positive vibes.

She contacted me early this year and booked a trial immediately. We met up shortly for a consultation and she booked me straight away after the trial. Booking was made for herself and 6 members of her bridal party.

I arrived on the day with a member from my beauty team who worked on her bridesmaids.

Starting Lisa’s makeup, her skin was cleansed using Bioderma Sensibio H2O and hydrated using a pea sized amount of Embryolisse Lait-Creme concentrate. This was massaged in using my fingers.

While that absorbed into the skin I began working on her brows using Anastasia Beverly hills brow definer in Dark brown and combing through with a clear brow gel to tame the hair.

Lisa wanted colours on her eyes and loved the colour pink.  I did manage to persuade her against all pink on the eyes and incorporated a rose gold shade with pink hues coming through using the Shades – Cosmopolitan by Makeup geek cosmetics and Sushi flower, Arena, shadowy lady and Texture by MAC. This was finished off by a liner, Lisa already had lash inserts installed already.

Moving onto the skin, after priming the skin using Smashbox photo finish foundation primer, I used Black Opal foundation in a mix of Hazelnut and Truly topaz. I brightened under her eyes using NARS creamy concealer in Amande which was set using Sasha buttercup setting powder. The rest of the face was set using MAC blot powder in Deep Dark.

To add more colour to her face, I applied very sparingly – Nars blush in Angelika. This is quite a pigmented blush so apply with caution. I then added definition to the face by contouring using Carob by Anastasia Beverly hills and highlighting using Bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze.

Finishing up on the lips, I defined the outer edges using MAC lip pencil in Vino and filled in using MAC lipstick in Candy yum yum. I did previously use a nude pink lip colour but Lisa wanted a colour that really popped!

Lisa was so radiant in her dress! She couldn’t stop smiling! Many thanks for the booking. God bless.
