Keji’s Wedding

I call my bride Keji – The Bride who’s eyebrows cannot be touched 🙂 On her wedding day I arrived to her eyebrows already on “Fleek”. Keji is actually an absolute sweetheart and a joy to work with. She’s just super fussy with how she likes her eyebrows done, preferring to do them herself which was fine with me.

Keji booked me in 2018 without requiring a trial trusting me to deliver her brief. She had initially wanted a standard booking but changed it closer to the wedding to the Platinum package.

Back to her wedding day, I arrived to her wedding location – Three Rivers Golf and Country Club in Essex. Met the hairstylist – DEA hair finishing off on her hair in the bridal suite. I quickly did my set up and began as soon as hair was completed.

Her skin was quite dry so I began with cleansing her entire face down to her neck using Bioderma Sensibio solution followed with Charlotte Tilbury magic cream. With the eyebrows already done by the bride, I moved to the eyes starting with MAC paint pot in Laying low all over the lids. I used just the Violet Voss holy grail eye palette to create this look followed with Inglot gel liner in 77 and some mink lashes.

I then applied Bobbi Brown Vitamin enriched base over her face as a primer. I used a mix of both Lancome and Nars foundations as Keji has different undertones across her face. Using just one or 2 foundations was not enough. Concealer used was also a mix of shades from Kevyn Aucoin. This was set using RCMA no colour loose powder.

Definition was added to her face using Sleek contour kit and that glow is from my favourite highlighter – Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz. Blush used was Ambering rose by MAC cosmetics.

On her lips, I started with MAC lip liner in Chestnut followed by a custom mix of MAC lipsticks to get the particular hue of pink she wanted.
