Jaylene’s Wedding

Jaylene my gorgeous SouthAfrican bride made her booking very early this year. She’s based in South Africa but chose London as her wedding location.
An absolute delight to work with up to the point where she arranged home pickups for both the hairstylist and I.

When we arrived, I immediately started my setup while the hairstylist (Tola of Charis hair) prepped her hair.

Started Jaylene’s makeup by first cleansing and hydrating her skin. She’s blessed with beautiful skin so a lot of products was not needed.

Bride is not a fan of super sculpted brows so I filled them in using Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer in Chocolate, making sure to comb through to give it a natural look.

We were going for bold lips so I kept her eyes simple with a champagne shade applied with a fluffy brush with a medium brown shade used to add depth to the outer edges of the lids. The eyes were finished off with some strip lashes, I believe I mixed 2 lengths to give this effect.

Prepped her face using just Embryolisse lait creme before buffing in Nars All day luminous weightless foundation in Tahoe. I used only a small amount as Jaylene did not want full coverage that hid her cute moles on her face. I then used Nars creamy  concealer in Ginger to brighten under her eyes. This was set with Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Translucent.

I asked Jaylene to give me a big smile and dusted Nars blush in orgasm all over her cheeks with MAC highlight powder in Oh darling for an added glow. Her cheeks were contoured using MAC mineralise skin finish in Dark

To finish off her look I lined her entire lips using MAC lip liner in Burgundy and filled in with MAC lipstick in Dare you. No lipgloss was used.

Jaylene was such a stunner! Her beautiful lace dress is by designer – Gert-Johan Coetzee.
