Cheryl’s Traditional Wedding
Cheryl contacted me in February for her Traditional wedding, unfortunately between communications I got booked in the morning by another bride but blocked out the whole day to finish early and have the rest of the day off. I have an extremely busy Month in August and needed some rest days. But Cheryl was not having it, she was so insistent about having me do her wedding that I buckled and booked her in.
We did her Wedding Trial just 2 days to the wedding where I discovered her love for bright lips!
On her wedding day I arrived to setup, there was a bit of delay by the organisers which she found stressful but I did my best to soothe and encourage her.
Starting on makeup, her face was cleansed and moisturized. Due to the large pores on her face I swapped my usual Smashbox primer for Becca cosmetics line and pore filler all over her face.
Brows were groomed and filled using MAC brow pencil in Spiked. On her lids was a combination of shadows from Lorac Pro palette and MAC Rose gold pigment.
Before Foundation I applied an orange corrector to cancel out the dark pigmentations on her skin, I then buffed in MAC studio fix fluid foundation in both NW45 and 50. Under her eyes was concealed and highlighted with MAC prolong wear concealer in NW40 and then set with a mix of Ben nye Topaz powder and Sasha buttercup loose powder.
The rest of the face was set with MAC blot powder in Deep dark. Blush applied was MAC Ambering Rose.
Her face was gently contoured with MAC eyeshadow in Embarked and highlighted with Becca highlight powder in Topaz.
The whole look was finished off by lining the lips with MAC lipliner in Cherry, Lipstick in Ruby Woo and a clear gloss for that oomph effect.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get a shot from her second look which consisted of a change of lipstick to MAC Flat out Fabulous.
Really happy with the look, so was Cheryl who called yesterday with some lovely feedback regarding her look.
Thanks for the patronage and wishing you a happy married life.
