Bonii’s Wedding

Bonii’s Wedding was booked very early this year without a trial. We did meet later for a consultation to create her bridal look where a softly smoked eye look paired with nude lips was chosen.

There were a few issues with her skin, such as the lines under her eyes and a few discolourations so I couldn’t believe my eyes when I arrived at her hotel on the wedding day for work and all the wrinkles/Lines under her eyes had completely disappeared! Even the pigmentation she had on several areas of her skin were all gone!

A bride after my heart 🙂 She had embarked on a strict skincare regime to work on the problems on her skin. This is the advice I give to brides, invest in good skincare beginning a year to 6 months to the wedding. Check out these amazing brands – SK-II, Alpha-H, SkinCeuticals, Sarah Chapman, Odacite and Oskia.

Now to her makeup, I allowed her use her own skincare before commencing with the brows. I used MAC brow pencil in spiked. On her eyes, I created a soft champagne hued softly smoked out eyes using the Flaming love palette by Makeupaddiction Cosmetics, finishing with lashes. Lashes used was lilly lashes in Mykonos.

Foundation used was one pump of NARS luminous weightless foundation in Macao and Estee double wear stay in place foundation in Rich Caramel to finish off. This was what the client wanted. It did give a beautiful natural finish without any use for concealer. I only used LA girl pro concealer in Warm honey to brighten under her eyes.

Before setting, I used Bobbi brown foundation stick in Chestnut to contour the outer perimeters of her face. I then set the whole face using RCMA no colour loose powder.

Blush used was BECCA blush in Pamplemousse and highlighter was Glam-o-rous by OPV

The whole look was finished off on the lips by gently lining the outer edge with MAC lipliner in Chestnut and lipstick in Peachstock.

Bonii looked absolutely breathtaking when she was ready to leave.
