Another Ghanaian Bridal Beauty

Seasons Greetings! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas celebration 😉

Meet my last bride of 2014 – Sandra Badu. Another Ghanaian bridal Beauty and named Sandra just like my last post. Her Friend Bunmi contacted me early this year to set up the booking.

We met for a Consultation Session a month ago to try out some looks. She was clear on having a mix of pink/purple injected into her look and also having a natural finish on her skin as she was not a big fan of caked on foundation. When we agreed on a final look she booked me immediately.

My husband drove me down to Southampton on the Friday night before her wedding date as there were no train services both Friday and Saturday. We were lodged into a nearby hotel by the bride.

On the day, I arrived at her hotel, set up and began working on her mum and friend while her hair was being done by AVOS HAIR .

Starting on the bride, I cleansed her face using Bioderma Sensibio Cleanser. I then moisturized using Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum.

Her brows were groomed using MAC brow pencil in spiked, I primed her lids using MAC paint pot in Nubile. Her lid colours were a cocktail of pinks, lavender and deep purple. I applied MAC Swish eyeshadow on her lid, mixed a couple of shades to compliment it and added definition using MAC eyeshadow in Shadowy lady. I applied a thin eyeliner and a kohl liner to her waterline and finished off her eyes with Ardell Lashes in 110.

Her skin was prepped with Smashbox photofinish foundation primer and foundation used was a mix of MAC Studio fix fluid foundation in NW45 and 50. Under eye concealer was MAC pro long wear concealer in NW40. I set these with Ben nye powder in Topaz and MAC’s Blot powder. I sculpted her cheeks using Sleek face Contour kit in Dark.

I mixed a couple of shades to give her the perfect pink on her cheeks and added MAC Mineralise skin finish in Gold deposit for added highlight.

Her lips were lined with MAC lip liner in Vino and I mixed some shades as we did during the consultation session to give her a custom made pink shade that looked absolutely gorgeous on her skin.

See below her final look with her parents.
