Nicole booked me late 2016 without a trial for her wedding in Oxford.
She was such a pleasure to work with and made my job so easy!
I travelled down to Oxford a day before her wedding for an overnight stay at her beautiful wedding location – Worton Park, Cassington.
We had a little chat before bedtime on final looks and timings before the news broke out! No hairstylist! 🙁 I do have little basic hair styling and offered to help with her hair. The style she wanted was quite simple though I wished I was made aware before I travelled down to bring my own hair tools.
On the day I woke up early to have a good breakfast as I knew it was to be a long day ( I was booked for 5hours then had to do a long journey back home).
Nicole has beautiful skin with very few pigmentation issues so I cleansed and lightly hydrated her skin.
Her brows are very sparse so I used MAC brow pencil in Spiked to feather in strokes and build a strong brow which she wanted. I then combed through with MAC brow gel in show off to tone down the dark hue of spiked pencil.
On her lids I started off with MAC paint pot in laying low and began to create a nice neutral eye look then one of the bridesmaids came into room with the exact eye look Nicole wanted on. Nicole was not happy about it so I suggested a hint of pink in hers so it looked different to her bridesmaids eye look. I used the Violet Voss Holy grail eye palette to create this look which was finished off with Inglot gel liner in 77 and mink lashes for a wow factor!
Her skin was primed using Hylamide Matte 12 and LA pro conceal in orange to even out the pigmentations. This was followed by Lancome Teint Idole 24hr Ultra foundation which was applied with a beauty blender sponge. To brighten under her eyes I used Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer which was set with RCMA no colour loose powder. The rest of the face was set with the same powder followed by MAC mineralize skin finish in dark deepest.
I added just a bit of definition to the outer perimeters of her face and her nose which she requested for. This was done using Covergirl bronzer in Ebony bronze. To highlight, using a fluffy brush, I dusted Bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze on top of her cheekbones, down the bridge of her nose, lightly on her cupid’s bow and under the arch of her eyebrows. MAC blush in dollymix was applied to her cheeks which warmed up her whole face.
On the lips, first MAC lipliner in Vino was applied to the edges of her lids and filled in with Bobbi brown lipstick in Mod pink. A tiny clear gloss was applied in the middle of the lips and blended out.
For her hair, I used her curling tong to create soft waves which completed the whole look.
She looked absolutely mesmerising! Thank you so much Nicole for being an amazing client!
