Nata’s wedding was a memorable occasion for me. She has to be one of the loveliest brides I’ve worked with till date.
I was referred to her by her sister who found me on Instagram. After seeing my work Nata booked almost immediately without a trial. We did have one later on, she just wanted to ensure I don’t get booked by someone else on her day.
We met up for a consultation accompanied by her sister. It was here I discovered Nata’s love for ‘Pink’. It was incorporated into her eye look, lips and cheeks!
On her wedding day, I travelled down to Sawbridgeworth with 2 assistants who helped me out with the bridal party of 11.
Starting Nata’s makeup, her face was thoroughly cleansed using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water ( my other alternative to Bioderma).
Skin was moisturized using Embryolisse Lait Creme and primed using Smashbox Photo finish foundation primer.
Her brows were filled in using MAC brow pencil in Spiked and MAC swiss chocolate eyeshadow to lighten the colour. Nata is quite fair and spiked was a bit too dark against her skin tone.
On her eyes, using Guerlain Les Roses palette, I played with the selection of pink shades and deepened the crease colour using MAC shadowy lady eyeshadow. Eyes were then lined and finished off with Ardell strip lashes in 120.
Foundation used was MAC Studio Fix fluid foundation in NC45, and concealer used under her eyes was MAC prolong wear concealer in NC40. This was set with Sasha buttercup loose powder. Then using a big fluffy brush (to minimise product picked) I dusted MAC Studio finish powder in NC45 around her face. This gave her extra coverage and ensure longevity of the foundation.
Her face was gently contoured using MAC studio Fix powder in NW50 and generously highlighted using Becca pressed highlight powder in a mix of Opal and Topaz. This gave my bride a radiant glow!
Blush used was a mix of MAC breezy and Swoon blush.
Her lips were lined with Nyx lip pencil in Bloom and I did mix a couple of shades to give her a custom-made pink colour which looked absolutely stunning on her.
Nata looked absolutely breathtaking by the time I was finished and had her hair done by Tola of Charis hair
