Oh wow! Still in a bit of shock! I recently found out I won the Tittle – Best Makeup Artist 2014 at the Beffta Awards held on the 25th of October 2014 at the Hippodrome, Golders Green, London.
BEFFTA stands for Black Entertainment Film Fashion Entertainment Art. The Awards is a distinctly special awards ceremony honouring the best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black and ethnic communities in the UK, USA, Africa, Caribbean, Canada and globally. This International prestigious ceremony celebrates an all round accomplishments of a hard working community within entertainment and showbiz especially the unknown talent that need exposure.
I was nominated for this tittle last year and didnt win and so when I got nominated again this year I didn’t for a second believe I could win it. The ceremony was held last weekend which I didn’t even attend. Only for me to start receiving congratulatory messages and finally a confirmation message that I had won from the Beffta Awards Committee! Was stunned!

A huge thanks to everyone that took out time to vote for me, I didn’t inform anyone that I was a nominee as I didn’t believe I could ever win it. So it was a massive shock to actually win the Tittle and for that I will be forever grateful.
