Ufuoma reached out to me in October 2017 regarding her destination Wedding taking place in Italy. Without needing a consultation or trial she booked me that same month.
I was also booked to provide an artist for her bridesmaids so I travelled out with a member from my beauty team – Nicole. We arrived a day before the wedding to settle down before the date.
The following morning I arrived at the brides room while her hair was being finished off by her bridesmaids. After setting up I began work.
Ufuoma has combination skin so I started with a good cleanse followed by MAC fix plus for hydration.
On her brows is a combination of MAC brow pencil in spiked and Anastasia Beverly hills brow powder in chocolate. Spiked was a bit dark for her skin tone, I used it sparingly with the brow powder.
The eyelids were prepped using MAC paint pot in laying low followed by eyeshadows by Violet Voss in the Holy grail palette.Ufuoma wanted the colour pink without looking like a barbie, so I avoided using it all over her eyes, just a hint applied to the inner corners of her eyes. Eyes were finished off with a gel liner and lashes.
Due to the heat I used Ponds vanishing cream for oily skin on her T zones. I highly recommend using your fingers to apply this product as its very thick. This was following by Charlotte Tilbury wonder glow applied to the outer perimeters of her face.
Foundation used was Nars All day luminous weightless foundation in a mix of Cadiz and Macao. To brighten under the eyes I used Kevyn Aucoin The etherealist super natural concealer in the shade 7 which was set using Laura mercier loose powder in translucent. This was also used with a damp beauty blender sponge to set the rest of her face.
MAC mineralize skin finish in deep dark was used to create dimension and bobbi brown shimmer brick in Bronze glow created an amazing shimmering glow to her skin. Blush used was MAC blush in Breezy.
On her lips, I started with MAC lip liner in Cork and filled it in with MAC lipliner in Whirl followed by a custom mixed pink shade to compliment not only her skin but the blush and pink on the eyes. This was finished off with Tom ford lipgloss in Sugar pink.
I really wished my camera picked up how super sparkly her dress was! But check out this video I shot on the day – here.
Huge thank you Ufuoma! It was a pleasure working with you. God bless you and your marriage.
