Tobi’s Wedding
My lovely bride Tobi contacted and booked me for her wedding almost a year ago. We met up for her consultation, discussed her choice of looks and skin regime as her skin is quite sensitive. I gave her some advice regarding skin products to use which would make a big difference to her skin.
Tobi did contact me half way to her wedding to inform me her skin was responding positively to the products which made me very happy.
On her special day I arrived at the Brooklands Hotel in Surrey. Organised my space and started makeup on her sister who was her maid of honour, followed by her lovely mum.
I then started on the bride after the hairstylist – Avos hair had finished.
Tobi’s skin was cleansed and moisturised using Chanel Beauty Serum and prepped with Smashbox photofinish foundation primer which was applied to only the t zone areas.
Her brows were shaped and filled in with MAC brow pencil in spiked and MAC eyeshadow in Swiss Chocolate.
Moved to her eyes, MAC paintpot in painterly was used as a base with the main shadow being MAC eyeshadow in Arena. This was warmed up with a variety of warm browns to flatter and give dimension to her beautiful eyes. The eyes were finished off with a bit of liner and Ardell lashes in 120.
On her skin my foundation of choice was Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24hour foundation. This was applied with a damp beauty blender sponge.
Any blemishes was concealed and I then moved to highlighting and contouring her face. Finished off on her skin with a sweep of MAC blush in Ambering rose and a soft touch of Becca Highlight powder in Topaz to add more highlight to the face.
Tobi didn’t want a lip liner used so I applied MAC lipstick in Fresh brew, blotted and reapplied. I did this thrice to aid the longevity of the lipstick.
