It was lovely being part of Stephanie’s wedding. I was booked early 2016 for the entire day.
We had a brief bridal consultation a few weeks to the wedding to select her makeup colour scheme as she planned to change outfits.
On the wedding day I made my way to her prep location at the Millennium Hotel Mayfair, London. Waited for the hairstylist (Charis hair) to finish off before commencing work.
Stephanie has normal to oily skin so I began by gently cleansing her skin using Lancome Eau Micellaire Douceur and a quick spray of MAC fix +.
Her brows were filled in using MAC brow pencil in Spiked. Eyeshadows were mostly from the Voilet voss holy grail eyeshadow palette which was finished off with some mink lashes.
To prep her skin I used Becca’s ever matte poreless priming perfector before buffing in Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24HR foundation in the shades 13 and 13.1. To highlight under her eyes I used NARS creamy concealer in Amande which was set using RCMA no colour loose powder. This was also used lightly to set the rest of her face followed by MAC mineralize skin finish in Dark deepest.
MAC studio fix powder in NW58 was used to add definition to her face followed by Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz used to highlight the highest points of her face. Blush used was a mix of MAC’s sweet cocoa followed by a touch of breezy.
Stephanie wanted bold red lips! I started off with lining her entire lips using MAC lip pencil in Cherry followed by MAC lip stick in Lady Danger. I added a bit of Morange to the middle for an extra pop. No lip gloss was added, instead I blotted the shine off to give a matte finish.
