I met the lovely Nora who is Congolese at a Wedding Trial some years back. She was present during her friends Bridal Trial and contacted me for her own Wedding.
We met up some weeks ago for a Trial where we played with colours. She really wanted pinks in her makeup without it being overpowering.
On her Wedding day, I arrived at her hotel and set up. Her skin was a bit dry so I used an American brand foundation – ‘Graftobian’ which is my go to foundation on clients with dry skin. This was buffed into her skin in circular motions. I then applied a lighter shade and a corrector under her eyes to cancel out dark circles and brighten the area. I skipped a setting powder to avoid her skin looking caked because of the dryness and instead swept MAC’s mineralised skin finish in Dark over her face to cancel any shine yet give a subtle glow to her skin.
She has sparse brows so I had to create some using M.A.C Brow pencil in both Spiked and Stud.
On her eyes was a mix of champagne, pinks, burgundy and deep browns. This was paired with a mix of purple and pink ombre lips and a touch of soft pink on her cheeks swept towards her hairline.
Final look was breath-taking 🙂
