Nkechi’s Wedding

Nkechi’s wedding was a booking from late 2016. Location was Dublin, Ireland.  I was thrilled about this, Its one of those locations I’ve always wanted to visit but never had the time.

I travelled down a day before the wedding and made my way to my hotel which was also the bride’s prep location – The Castleknock hotel. After checking in, I popped quickly to formally meet my bride and have a chat in her room. Nkechi is such a lovely person!

On the morning of the wedding, after a great breakfast it was time to work.

Started off with her gorgeous mum before the bride.

Nkechi is blessed with beautiful facial features so makeup application was so easy!

Her skin is normal to slightly dry. I cleansed her skin using Bioderma Sensibio H2o before hydrating using using Embryolisse Lait cream.

While I let that sink into her skin, her brows were filled in with Anastasia Beverley hills brow definer in Medium brown and MAC eyeshadow in Swiss chocolate. On her eyes I used the following – MAC paintpot in Soft ochre and Texture. Remaining shades were from the Lorac pro eyeshadow palette. I used Mink lashes but can’t remember the name unfortunately.

Foundation used was Nars all day luminous foundation in a mix of Tahoe and Syracuse. Nars creamy concealer in Biscuit which was set with Laura mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. This was also dusted with a big fluffy brush across her face.

Blush used was Nars blush in orgasm. Becca shimmering skin perfector in Opal was dusted on the highest points of her face and MAC studio fix powder in Nw45 was used to add a bit of definition to her face by lightly contouring under her cheek bones.

To finish off the look, I lined the outer perimeters of her lips with MAC lip pencil in Whirl. Actual lip colour will be difficult to say as I started with NARS audacious lipstick in kelly then added a bit of peach (can’t remember the brand) to the middle and blended out. This was finished off with NARS lipgloss in Orgasm.

A quick spray of MAC fix + was used in a final step to stop her face from being too Matte.

Nkechi was a vision in her dress! Stunning!

Many thanks for the booking! A pleasure working with you 🙂
