Nadine’s Wedding

Lovely Nadine booked my services late 2016 without requiring a trial. We later organised one closer to her wedding date to finalise on her makeup look.

Nadine wanted a look that was really simple, stressing she wanted to look just like herself.

On the wedding day I made my way to her home in East London. After hair prep was completed by Hannah of Honey Hands Salon, I started work.

Skin was cleansed using Bioderma sensibio h2o and hydrated with just MAC fix +. Her brows were filled in using Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow definer in Dark brown.

MAC paint pot in Laying low was applied all over her eyelids as a base before creating a simple eye look using all MAC eyeshadows – Twinks, Handwritten, Swiss chocolate and Carbon. This was finished off with a liner and Ardell wispy lashes.

To mattify her skin I used a recent purchase which is slowly becoming a favourite for combination skin – Deciem Hylamide – Finisher Matte 12. Its a cross between the Becca ever matte and Smashbox photo finish primer.

LA girl pro conceal in orange was used to correct before buffing in Lancome teint idole ultra in a mix of 13 and 13.3. To highlight and conceal under eye darkness I applied with a damp beauty blender sponge – MAC pro long wear concealer in NW40. This was set using Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. This was also used to set the rest of the face before adding warmth with a dusting of MAC mineralize skin finish in dark deepest.

MAC studio fix powder in NW58 was used to add depth and dimension to her face before highlighting using Bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze. Blush used was MAC blush in sweet as cocoa.

To finish off the look I lined the outer perimeters of her lips with MAC lip liner in chestnut before filling in with Delilah cosmetics lipstick in Honesty topped with a clear lipgloss for a sultry finish.

Thank you so much for the booking Nadine 🙂
