Indian Wedding – The Asif’s
The Asif family have been a regular client for about 3 years or more now. We first met when I was contacted to do a 2 day job on the eldest daughter’s wedding.
On this occasion it was the marriage ceremony of Mr Asif’s son. It was a week-long event of celebrations! I was booked for the major days which was 3 in number including the grand finale called ‘The Walima’.
Unfortunately on this post I won’t be able to list specifically the products used as there was alot of mixing and layering to meet the makeup briefs of the 3 sisters including the mum I worked on.
Day 1
Brief on my first day was to play with colours particularly pink.
I believe the lipstick used here was MAC flat out fabulous which was matte as requested.
I used various shades from Urban decay Cosmetics Eye palette in Electric. Really love the final finish.
Day 2
It was a smokey eye day!
Contouring and highlighting was taken up a notch.
I loved creating coloured smokey eyes instead of the traditional black. Lipstick used above was MAC lady danger.
Shalima requested a cut crease smoked out and paired with gold lids and a bold liner.
Day 3 – The Walima
It was all about the colour red.
Lipstick used MAC Ruby Woo.
I played with golden bronze shades on her eyes to compliment the lips and her outfit.
I applied gold glitter liner over the bold black liner to add more glam to the look.
As I was rounding up on the last sister I was approached to help out with the Bride on the day, apparently her makeup artist failed to show up and they appealed for me to step in which I gladly did.
As the bride, her makeup was more intense with more foundation coverage. Her contour and highlight was more pronounced.
and of course.. More glitter!
Really love how the final look came together…
Her outfit and jewellery was just stunningly beautiful!!
By the end of the day I was absolutely knackered but seeing the final results made it worthwhile.
Many thanks for the patronage and Congratulations!
