Gloria’s Wedding

Gloria’s Wedding was a booking from mid year 2015. A trial was not needed before securing my services, however we did meet up 2 weeks to the wedding to finalize her looks.

On the day, I arrived at her prep location, The Atlantic Hotel, Chelmsford, Essex. The lovely hairstylist – Tola of Charishair was prepping her hair while I did my set up.

When Hair prep was finished I began work by thoroughly cleansing her skin using garnier micellar water and hydrating with MAC fix+ spray. Lips were prepped with my favourite lip balm – Creme de la Mer The lip balm.

Her brows were filled in using Anastasia Beverly hills brow definer in a Mix of Dark brown and Auburn, this was brushed through using MAC brow gel in show off.  Eye shadows used was all MAC – Woodwinked, Bronze, Embarked, Swiss chocolate and Carbon. The eyes were finished off with some liner and then lashes for added glam.

Moving on the skin, I cancelled out dark pigmentation on her face using MAC orange corrector, this was after priming the skin with Smashbox photo finish foundation primer.

Foundation used was Lancome Teint Idol Ultra 24hr in 12 and 13, under her eyes was brightened using LA girl pro concealer in Fawn. This was set with MAC studio fix foundation in NC40 and 45 and the rest of her face with MAC blot powder.

To contour, I used MAC studio fix foundation in NW50 and highlighted using Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz. The Skin was finished off with MAC blush in Sweet as cocoa mixed with a bit of Dollymix.

On her lips, I began by lining the outer corners with MAC lipliner in Currant and nightmoth. I filled in with MAC lipstick in please me and Lovelorn.

The whole look was finished with a spritz of Skindinavia Makeup finishing spray – Bridal.

Gloria looked absolutely stunning!

A shame I couldn’t get a proper picture of her gorgeous outfit with the veil and stunning back jewellery.

Many thanks for booking my services Gloria and also being such a delight to work with! Wishing you a beautiful married life 🙂
