My Ghanaian bride to be – The Lovely Sandra contacted me some weeks ago regarding her Wedding Introduction. She didn’t require a trial but sent visuals of the sort of look she wanted which would go with her Ghanaian Kente outfit.
Although there were some issues with the logistics before the day, I did arrive at her house very early in the morning. My bride was so kind to pick me up at the station as there were no taxi’s when I arrived.
I set up and began working….
Started off by cleansing and moisturizing her skin. I then shaped her brows and moved on to the eyes. I used a mix of rich gold, pink and purple hues on her eyes. This was finished off with a slick of liner and strip lashes.
Her skin was primed using Smashbox Photo finish foundation primer and I used 2 shades of MAC Studio fix foundation making sure to buff it in. Any blemishes was concealed and set with a mix of Ben Nye Topaz powder and MAC Mineralize skin finish in Deep dark. Added definition to her face by highlighting and sculpting using Bobbi Brown Bronze glow and Sleek contour powder. I then swirled a mahogany mixed with a touch of pink blush on her cheeks for warmth to the skin.
On her lips, MAC lip liner in chestnut was used to define her lips and also stop any feathering. I then mixed a selection of nude shades to suit her skin tone finishing off with a clear gloss for a sultry effect.
Absolutely love how the look all came together at the end even though we ran out of time.
Unfortunately I couldn’t stay to see the outfit but she sent me some visuals. They are not too clear but am waiting on the official photographers which I would put up so you can all see our spectacular her dress was.
Now its count down to her main wedding! Cant wait Sandra! My Ghanaian Bride 😉
