It was a pleasure working on this amazing lady! She had the most gorgeous freckles!
She wanted a natural glowing make-up which is a favourite of mine. To achieve this, a good base and the right skin care is essential.
Always start with a good cleansing and toning routine, I used LANCOME Eau Micellaire Douceur, A transparent and high potency water which gently liberates the skin from impurities and toxins from deep inside. The micellar technology allows perfect make-up and grease removal with optimal tolerance in a burst of freshness.
Then using my fingers, I massaged in Mac Cosmetics Studio moisture cream for her Dry to Normal skin. This is a super-rich creamy moisturiser boosted with skin-nourishing extracts including passion fruit, spinach leaf, green tea, algae, wheat germ and coconut. This moistens, feeds, firms and protects the skin. It also promotes a healthy radiance and diminishes the appearance of fine line.
Next process was skin priming. I used Smashbox Photofinish primer, this award winning product creates a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky, lightweight blend of vitamins A and E, grape seed extract and green tea. It gives foundation longevity and photographs beautifully.
Time for foundation application, I mixed Mac cosmetics Studio fix fluid with Mac Lustre drops in Sun rush and applied with a buffing brush. On the T zones, I set the foundation with Laura Mercier Loose setting powder in Translucent .
For added radiance, using a mini stippling brush I applied Mac’s cream colour base in Pearl on the highest points of her face. This includes her cheekbones, bridge of the nose and forehead.
I finished off the rest of the makeup with some pale shimmering lilac eyeshadow, Liner and Mascara. I added natural False lashes for added glamour with 2 coats of mascara.
Finally on the lips, I started with a natural peach lipliner and applied a peachy lipgloss.
Viola!! Loved how it turned out!
