Gucci’s Wedding was a 2015 booking without a trial. Her wedding was planned and coordinated by Perfect Events.
I arrived at her prep location – The Rosewood London all ready for my 12hours booking with a member from my beauty team who worked on her mother and maid of honour.
Met my bride for the first time and I have to say, she’s one of the nicest people I’ve met. Very warm, friendly & accommodating and was so calm!
Hair was by Celebrity Hairstylist Dionne Smith.
Starting on her makeup, I began by applying a thin layer of Embryolisse Lait-cream all over her face and neck. I let the product absorb into her skin while I filled in her brows using MAC brow pencil in spiked.
Gucci didn’t want any boring colours and asked for something striking without going over the top. To meet her brief, I played with hues consisting of rose golds and pinks! Main colours used on her eyes were Makeup geek eyeshadow in cosmopolitan, MAC sushi flower and Eden from the Flaming love palette by Makeupaddiction Cosmetics. She also asked for “fiercest lashes”, so I swapped my regular Ardell 120 for Mink lashes by Accessory Cirus – Khadijah. This just made her eyes pop!
Moving to her skin, I primed using YSL Touche Eclat blur primer and buffed in Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24h foundation in a mix of shades – 12&13.To brighten under her eyes, using a damp sponge by OPV, I applied LA Girl Pro conceal in Fawn. This was set using RCMA no colour loose powder.
Blush used is my current obsession – Becca Champagne splits shimmering skin perfector. Shade used was Prosecco pop and pamplemousse. Definition was added to her face by contouring using Anastasia Beverly Hills contour powder in shade Earth.
The whole look was finished off on the lips, I lined the outer corners of her lips using MAC lipliner in Vino and filled in using MAC lipstick in Please me. No gloss was used.
My bride looked absolutely stunning when ready to leave for the church ceremony.
Her bridesmaids were dressed in multicoloured dresses which looked so striking against Gucci’s white dress.
After the ceremony we headed back to The Rosewood for more pictures….
before heading to the reception taking place at The Grand Connaught room.
Gucci had a dress change late in the evening. Due to time constraints, I was not able to completely change her look so I added some glitter to her lids and intensified her lip colour.
Thank you so much for the booking Gucci, I had a blast at the wedding! Also many thanks for the beautiful feedback on Instagram 🙂
