Lovely Dolores booked me last year without requiring any bridal consultation. She completely trusted me to fulfil her dream bridal makeup look.
On her wedding date I arrived at her hotel in Tunbridge Wells where the lovely Tola @Charishair was finishing up on the hair prep.
Starting up on her makeup, I began with my cleansing routine. Dolores has clear skin that is normal to combination.
Her brows were filled in using MAC brow pencil in spiked followed by MAC brow gel in show off. I’ve been recently notified this product has been discontinued though 🙁
On her eyes, key eyeshadows used – ABH pink champagne, and MAC woodwinked. This was finished off with Ingot gel liner in 77 and mink lashes.
Moving on to her face, I applied a thin layer of embryolisse lait cream followed by Smashbox photo finish foundation primer. Foundation used – Lancome Teint Idole Ultra foundation in the Shade 13. Under her eyes I applied NARS creamy concealer in a mix of Amande and Caramel which was set using RCMA no colour loose setting powder. I then used a large fluffy brush to apply MAC studio fix powder in a NW45. The reason for the large and fluffy brush? The studio fix powder is also a foundation and fluffy brushes tend to pick less product compared to a dense brush.
I then softly defined her face using Smashbox contour kit in deep followed by Bobbi brown shimmer brick in Bronze to highlight the top of her cheeks and all the high points of her face. Blush used was MAC blush in Breezy.
Moving to her lips, I lined the edges using MAC lip pencil in Cork followed by MAC lip pencil in Whirl. Lipstick used was by Delilah cosmetics – A mix of Honesty and Grace. I did not use a lip gloss. To aid longevity of the lipstick, I blotted off the lipstick and reapplied.
Unfortunately due to another booking I could not stay back to take Dolores a picture with her dress on but I’m sure she looked absolutely incredible!
Thank you so much for booking my services! God bless you.
