When some things are meant to be…. I had a commercial job booked for the 15th of July but it got postponed. 3 brides contacted me on the same day the job was postponed one of which was Daniella.
She booked me without requiring a trial. We had a consultation session nearer the wedding date to finalise on looks. One aspect Daniella made very clear was her eyebrows. She does not like overly drawn and super defined brows aka The Instagram eyebrows. I did convince her to at least get them threaded so they looked neat.
On the wedding day I made my way to her prep location at the Holiday Inn, Elstree with a member from my beauty team who worked on the bridal party.
I started on her chief bridesmaid, mum and then the bride.
Daniella has dry skin so I prepped her skin with a generous amount of Embryolisse Lait creme. While that sank into her skin I filled in her brows (very lightly) with Anastasia Beverly hills brow definer in Medium brown.
Her eyelids was prepped using MAC paint pot in soft ochre followed by MAC eyeshadows in All that glitters, Arena, embark and texture. Eye look was finished off with Ardell lashes in 120.
Moving on to the face, I added more Embryolisse lait creme to the areas of her face prone to dryness. She has a birth mark on the side of her face which I colour corrected using LA girl pro conceal in Orange.
Foundation used was NARS all day luminous foundation in Cadiz and Macao. I then highlighted the middle of her face using NARS creamy concealer in both Caramel and biscuit. This was set with RCMA no colour powder and a damp beauty blender sponge. I didn’t powder any of the dry areas.
I added definition to her face using MAC mineralize skin finish in deep dark and highlighted using Becca shimmering skin perfector in Opal. I can’t remember what blush I used as I used a NARS one not in my blush palette.
Her lips were lined using MAC lipliner in cork and filled in with MAC lipstick in Half n half. The look was finished off with MAC lipstick in Nymphette.
Daniella’s hair was now finished off by AVOS hair before she stepped into her beautiful dress!
Thank you so much Daniella for the booking. God bless!
