Chinyere’s Wedding

Chinyere was my last bride of 2016. I was booked without a trial.

Arrived at her location at The Holiday Inn in Ilford and did my setup. Normally, I would wait for the hairstylist to finish at least hair prep but due to the bride’s time constraint the hairstylist and I had to work together at the same time.

Skin was cleansed and lightly moisturised using Bioderma Sensibio h2o and MAC fix + spray.

Chinyere wanted a very natural look, so after grooming her brows using Anastasia Beverley Hills brow definer in Dark brown and Ebony, I used my Lorac eyeshadow pro palette to create an eye look that was natural and close to her skin tone. This was finished with Ardell strip lashes in 120.

I primed her skin using Becca ever matte poreless primer before buffing in Black opal stick foundation in a mix of truly topaz and hazelnut. To conceal dark circles I applied an orange concealer before applying (using a beauty blender) MAC pro long concealer in NC50/45. This was set with Laura Mercier translucent loose powder and the rest of the face using MAC studio fix powder foundation in NC50 for extra coverage.

MAC blush in breezy was softly applied with Bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze.

I then lined her lips using MAC lip pencil in chestnut and filled in with MAC lipstick in Half n Half and a clear gloss.

Her dress was by talented bridal designer – Alonuko. A stunning beaded gown which looked absolutely stunning on Chinyere. The bride changed her mind on the lipstick she had earlier chosen so we went for a shade with more pink – MAC lipstick in Lovejoy.

Many thanks for the booking Chinyere, wishing you a blessed married life 🙂
