Chine contacted me several months ago regarding her wedding. We met up for a trial to test out some looks where she opted for a neutral palette.
The day before the wedding I travelled down to Premier Inn, Hampshire where the bride had arranaged for me to spend the night. A great decision as I was up by 6am the following morning to make my way to the brides house with the hairstylist – Deborah Lola.
I began work on 5 of her bridesmaids before I commenced with the bride.
My work began with cleansing and hydrating Chine’s face down to her neck. Her brows were defined with MAC brow pencil in spiked.
Her lids were primed using MAC paint pot in soft ochre. Eyeshadows used to create this gorgeous golden bronze was MAC eyeshadow in Amber lights topped with Lorac Unzipped Gold palette eyeshadow in Unleashed. This gave further intensity the bronze. I blended out the shades using MAC eyeshadow in swiss chocolate then embark and deepened the crease with Carbon by MAC. I then lined her eyes and waterline using Inglot gel liner in 77 before adding strip lashes – Ardell 120.
Moving on to her face, an orange concealer was used to lift the dark pigmentations across her face before I buffed in Lancome Foundation in shades 12 and 13. I highlighted under her eyes using Kevyn Aucoin Sensual skin enhancer in 12 and blended out using a damp beauty blender sponge. This was set using a mix of Ben Nye loose setting powder in Topaz and Banana. The rest of her face was set using MAC blot powder in Dark. I then gave definition to her face with a bit of contouring and highligting before lightly dusting MAC blush in Ambering Rose over her cheeks softly blending out.
On her lips, I lined the outer corners using NYX slim pencil in Dark Brown and then filled in using MAC lipstick in Peach stock. I blended this out seamlessly before adding a little clear gloss to the middle for added oomph!
Chine looked breathtaking when leaving the house and gifted myself and the stylist with a signed copy of her book – Am I beautiful.
Thanks so much! God bless!
