A Bridal Inspiration

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a lovely holiday? I’m back with another Bridal Inspiration to kick off 2018.

With the Wedding season looming ahead, I decided on a collaboration with Celebrity Wig Specialist – Chrissy Bales, Bespoke Bridal Wear designer – Alonuko and High Fashion and Beauty Photographer – Sean Whitty.

The makeup looks were put together to inspire brides who want a play on colours, in a soft yet glamorous way. The hair looks demonstrated the versatility of Frontal wigs for brides who wanted an alternative to the traditional “up-do”. Bridal hair can be fun, long and wavy or even short and sassy like the bob!
Something Blue

Another take on the tradition of the bride having something blue. Keep makeup neutral with a pop of blue in the inner corners of the eyes. The blue shade is from Juvia’s Place Masquerade Palette.

The Glam bride

I have brides who love smokey eyes but fear having it done on their wedding day. Another way to get eyes to stand out? Go bold with your lashes and keep everything else nude and neutral. Lashes used here are from Lash Magnifique.

Shimmer and Sparkle

Avoid glitter overload by applying it only below the lower lashes and ramp up the gloss intensity on the lips with a pearly shimmer mixed in with your chosen lipgloss. I love Urban Decay Heavy Metal glitter liquid liner.

Pink Champagne

Love pink but dread looking like a barbie doll? Keep all colours on the eyes matte with a hint of silver shimmer in the inner corners to avoid too much pink. NYX Cosmetics does amazing matte shades.

A huge thanks to the team…
