Nkem’s Wedding

Nkem’s Wedding was a part referral from her Wedding planner – Yeye of Les Luxes. We met for a trial and consultation almost a year ago and she booked my services immediately.

The day arrived and I made my way to her location – Denham Grove Hotel. I set up and began makeup on her lovely mum before starting on the bride.

I started on Nkem by cleansing and hydrating her skin using Bioderma H2O and MAC fix + spray.

Her brows had some faded out tatoo markings which I covered up using MAC brow pencil in Spiked and Eyeshadow in Embarked. This was combed through using a clear brow gel to keep the hair in place.

Her face was primed using Smashbox photofinish primer and Foundation used was lancome Teint idole ultra 24h. I concealed with mix of concealers from MAC – Studio finish concealer for any blemishes on the skin and Prolong wear concealer under the eyes. This was set with Sasha cosmetics Loose powder in Buttercup and MAC blot powder in Dark.

On her eyes was a mix of MAC Amberlight and a hint of Woodwinked. This was softly blended out using MAC Swiss chocolate and Carbon for depth at the outer corners. This was finished off with a liner and Ardell Lashes in 120.

Her face was contoured using MAC studio fix powder in NW58 and highlighted used BECCA highlight powder in Topaz. Blush used was a mix of MAC Ambering rose and breezy.

To finish off the look her lips were lined using NYX lip liner in dark brown and MAC lipstick in Peachstock. A clear gloss was added to the middle after she wore her dress.
