Soulafe’s Moroccan Wedding

My second Moroccan bride this year 🙂 Soulafe contacted me some weeks ago regarding her wedding.  Her registry had already been done but she was planning a traditional ceremony.

We met days later for a consultation where we went over several looks to go with her different outfits.

On the day I arrived at the hotel – Le Meridian Piccadilly, a beautiful location in London and a favourite hangout for tourists. I set up and began working on her bridal party which consisted of her mum, 2 sisters and niece.

See below what I used on My Moroccan bride….

I started off by thoroughly cleansing her face using Lancôme Eau Micellaire Douceur Express Cleansing Water and spritzed with Mac Fix + to hydrate her skin.

Her face was moisturised using Embryolisse Lait-Crème concentrate and primed with Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer.

I started on her brows using Spiked,  a brow pencil from MAC. Her brows are naturally very dark and well shaped so I only filled in the gaps and combed using a brow gel.  I then prepped her eyes using MAC paint pot in Painterley and used a variety of natural shades to enhance and define her eyes keeping the darker colours at the crease for definition. The lid colour used was All that Glitters eyeshadow by MAC. I finished off on the eyes with some kohl liner both on the upper and lower lid to bring intensity to her eyes. Strip lashes were added for more glam.

On her skin I used Cinema Secrets Foundation and Mac pro long wear concealer. This was set with Laura Mercier loose powder and MAC MSF in Medium golden. For contour I used MAC sculpt powder in Shadowy and MAC MSF (Mineralize Skin Finish) in deep dark for more intensity. I highlighted her face using Dior Amber Diamond Highlighter. Blush was orgasm by NARS.

A nude lip completed the first look, I mixed a couple of peach and pink lipsticks to give her a beautiful nude shade that suited her skin tone.

For her second look, I added more depth to the overall look by adding bronze to her lids, more contouring, more highlight and finished with a warm pink lipstick.
