Yvonne’s Wedding took me to Croydon Park hotel, Croydon.
She contacted me and booked straightaway without a trial after seeing my body of work. She communicated her looks to me by sending over some images of various brides but with the same colour scheme. This gave me a clear idea of her vision.
On the day, I arrived with my colleague – Stacy to help me out with the 7 bridesmaids.
I started her makeup with my usual routine of Cleansing and Hydrating her skin. Brows were groomed using my favourite Combo – MAC Spiked brow pencil and MAC eyeshadows in Swiss chocolate and Embarked.
On her eyes was a mix of Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Cosmopolitan, MAC eyeshadows in Expensive pink, Carbon, Swiss chocolate and handwritten. Finished off on her eyes with a liner on both top and waterline and strip lashes by Ardell in 120.
Her face was primed using Smashbox photo finish foundation primer. Foundation used was MAC Matchmaster Foundation and MAC prolongwear concealer. This was set using Sasha cosmetics loose powder in Buttercup and MAC blot powder.
Contouring was done using MAC studio fix powder in NW50 and Highligting was done using BECCA Highlight powder in Topaz. Blush used was NARS highlighting blush in Orgasm, this went beautifully with her eye look.
Finished off her makeup by very softly, lining her lips with MAC lip pencil in Cork and MAC lipstick in Please me. Decided not to use a gloss over it to extend the longevity of the lipstick.
Hair was done by Tola of Charis Hair.
She looked really stunning after we were done.
Unfortunately I couldn’t stay to take a picture of her in her dress but she kindly sent this shot to me the very next day 🙂
