Working with Beverley

Okay so I know this blog is geared towards bridal but I had to do a blog post on my stunning client – Beverley. As soon as her pictures went up on my Instagram page I had so many messages and request on how I created the look.

Beverley contacted me early 2017 and booked me for her 40th birthday party.

I had a wedding booking on the same day but in the morning and made my way to Beverley later in the day.

Starting Beverley’s makeup, her skin is normal with no visible signs of oil or dryness. I cleansed and lightly moisturised.

Beverley’s makeup brief was to look really glamorous and wanted gold accents in her makeup.

Her brows were filled in with MAC brow pencil in spiked and combed through with MAC brow gel in show off. After priming her eyelids with MAC paint pot in Nubile I then created a golden bronze look with the main eyeshadow being MAC’s Amberlights. I then used my fingers to press in MAC glitter in gold over amber lights and 3d glitter also by MAC at the tear duct area. This was finished off with Bold mink lashes for additional drama to the eye look.

YSL touche éclat blur primer was used to prime her whole face and Lancome Teint idole Ultra foundation in the shade 14 was buffed in with a real techniques expert face brush and a beauty blender sponge.

To brighten under her eyes I used NARS creamy concealer in Hazelnut and Amande which was set with Laura mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. I then used it sparingly to set the rest of her face followed by MAC mineralize skin finish in Dark deepest.

Blush used was NARS blush in Taj mahal followed by a sweep of  Bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze to the highest points of her face. This made her face so radiant! I made her cheekbones pop with MAC’s studio fix powder in NW58.

Her lips were lined using MAC lip liner in chestnut followed by MAC lipstick in Bronze shimmer and NARS lipgloss in orgasm.

Can we have a moment of silence for her Balmain dress! I don’t think my camera captured how beautiful this dress looked in person!

Thank you so much Beverley for the booking and beautiful feedback 🙂 It was a pleasure!
