Whitney’s Wedding

Whitney first made contact January 2015!  She was very keen to book my services for the day.

I was booked without a trial though a consultation session was set up a few weeks to the wedding to finalise looks.

On the day I made my way to her prep location at her residence. Organised my setup before checking on a member of my beauty team who worked on her bridesmaids.

After her hair was prepped by Andree Marie I began work.

Whitney has dry skin so I prepped her skin with a generous amount of my favourite moisturiser -Embryolisse lait cream.

While I let that sink into the skin, I started work on the eyes. The brows were filled in using Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer in Medium brown. On the eyelids MAC paint pot in Soft ochre was used to prime the eyelids.

Whitney wanted a very natural look so using my Lorac pro eyeshadow palette I created a natural hue with shimmer which suited her beautiful eyes. This was paired with glam mink lashes as requested by Whitney.

I mixed Embryolisse lait cream with NARS all day luminous weightless foundation and applied with a damp beauty blender sponge. To contour I used MAC studio quiktrik stick by Diane Kendal and then NARS creamy concealer in Biscuit to brighten under her eyes. This was set with Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. This was also used sparingly to set the rest of her face.

Blush used was NARS Orgasm and Tom Ford highlight palette in Moonlight.

The look was finished off with MAC lip liner in cork and whirl used to define the lip line and MAC lipstick in Half n half. To add a sultry effect I layered on a little amount of MAC lipgloss in Nyphette.

Unfortunately I had to head off to my next client and didn’t have the opportunity to take a picture of Whitney in her gorgeous dress 🙁

Thank you Whitney for the patronage and the beautiful testimonial!
