On most African weddings especially the Nigerian Traditional wedding, the make-up tends to be very colourful and vibrant. The bride also normally likes the makeup to match an item of clothing she’s wearing. This can be the jewellery, blouse, skirt or Gele (African head wrap)
As seen on my stunning bride below – Yemisi. She wanted her eye make-up to be a mixture of Lilac and Purple to match her colourful attire and head wrap. After this application using a pencil brush i patted close to her tear ducts a gorgeous gold colour to give the eye make-up some more oomph. I paired this vibrant eye look with 2 shades of purple lipstick, the darker shade to give her lips some definition and the lighter shade to fill out the lips.
To avoid taking this look overboard i used a nude blush that was not overpowering and made sure her skin looked flawless.
