Moroccan Wedding – Mona

My booking with the lovely Mona was courtesy of my past Moroccan bride – Soulafe. She really sang my praises on the work I did on her 🙂

Mona wanted a bridal consultation as she had skin concerns and needed to know I’ll be able to take care of the pigmentation issues especially the dark circles under her eyes.

The trial went really well and she booked my services for herself, sister and mum.

On the wedding day I made my way to her prep location which was also the destination of her wedding – The Grange.

I started on her sister who wanted a dark blue smokey eyed look paired with nude lips. This was followed by work on her mum who wanted a mild version of what the sister had.

Mona was next and I started with my usual cleansing routine followed by a generous application of embryolisse lait cream to her dry skin.

Brows were filled in with Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer in Medium brown and eyelids prepped with MAC paint pot in Soft ochre. I created a wash of blush colours on her eyes to compliment her dress using the Lorac pro eye palette. This was finished off with Ardell strip lashes in 120.

Embryolisse Lait cream was applied again all over the skin to act as base. Foundation used was Estee lauder double wear foundation in shade Cool bone mixed in with a bit of  shade Dawn. I avoided applying foundation under her eye areas as they creased easily. NARS creamy concealer in Chantilly was applied using a damp beauty sponge.

I did not set the foundation with any powder as Mona’s skin cannot handle powder. This was the main reason I used the Estee lauder foundation as I knew I won’t need to set it on her skin. I also avoided using any powder product on her skin. I used MAC Quiktrik stick in sheen/smoldering to contour and highlight her face.

To finish off the look I lined the outer corners of her lips with MAC lipliner in Soar and filled in MAC lipstick in Pure zen and a clear lipgloss.

Mona looked absolutely stunning in her dress!

Thank you so much for the booking, wishing you a happy married life.
