Dr Evelyn’s Wedding

A pleasure working on Dr Evelyn’s Wedding planned by Luxury Event Planner – Love from Mwai. My bride was a 2015 booking without a trial, however we did meet up a few weeks to the wedding for a consultation session.

Her wedding was held at the fabulous Hurlingham Club, a very exclusive location. Its so exclusive there’s a 30year waiting list just to be a member! Like Wow!

Evelyn had 3 dress changes with 2 makeup changes.

Started her makeup with my usual cleansing and hydrating routine. Her brows are actually tattooed on, I used MAC brow pencil in strut to counteract the darkness of the tattoo making it look less dark.

On her eyes I used MAC eyeshadows in Woodwinked, Swiss chocolate and embark. I also added Makeup geek eyeshadow in Cosmopolitan to give a more Rose gold hue to the eyes. Her lashes were already done with Individual lashes but she wanted more volume so I added Ardell lashes in 120 which gave her the glam effect she wanted.

Due to her oily skin, I primed her T-zones with Becca Ever matte poreless perfecting primer and buffed in Black Opal foundation. I had to use a variety of shades as her face and neck needed to be balanced due to the difference in their colour tone. Under her eyes was concealed and highlighted using LA girl pro concealer in Fawn and set with Sasha buttercup loose setting powder. The rest of her face was set with a light dusting of MAC studio fix powder foundation in NC50.

I gave her face some definition by contouring with MAC mineralize skin finish in Dark deepest and highlighting with Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Bronze. Blush used was MAC blush in Breezy.

Her first look was finished off with MAC lipliner in Burgundy and Lipstick in Hangup.

Moving on to her second look, Avos hair started off on her hair and I began work immediately she finished.

I patted on MAC eyeshadow in Arena all over the lid to tone down the gold from the first look and blended out the edges using a mix of Texture and embark.

On her lips I lined the edges with MAC lip pencil in Chestnut and lipstick in Peachstock.

Bride was so pleased with her look, she tipped both the hairstylist ( Avoshair) and I 🙂

Loved every minute of this booking which was attended by the likes of Bob Geldof and more…

Wishing you Evelyn a beautiful Married life.
