Divina’s Wedding

The lovely Divina booked my services for her wedding middle of last year without a trial. We met up some months later for a consultation where she picked out really dark smokey eyes paired with nude lips.

On her wedding day I arrived at her prep location – The Marriot Hotel, West India Quay. My Beauty team got to work on her bridesmaids while I waited for the hairstylist to finish prep the bride’s hair before commencing work.

Divina changed her mind on having smokey eyes and opted for soft rose gold hues, this was achieved using a mix of MAC eyeshadows in Trax and da bling. This combination looked amazing on her! I finished off on the eyes with Ardell wispies lashes.

Foundation used was Lancome Teint Idole in 12, Kevyn Aucoin Skin enhancer in 13 was used to highlight and brighten under her eyes. This was set with Sasha buttercup loose powder and the rest of the face with MAC blot powder in Dark.

I added definition to her face by contouring using MAC studio fix foundation in NW58 and highlighted with Becca shimmer powder in Topaz. I added further warmth to her face with a dusting of MAC blush in Raizin on her cheeks softly blending towards her hairline.

Her lips were lined using MAC lipliner in chestnut and filled in using MAC lipstick in syrup.

I was worried about the change of look but Divina looked so beautiful!

Received this lovely message from her the very next day – “Thank you so much Joy for my makeup yesterday! It was flawless and I had so many compliments. You are the best at your craft and may God richly bless you with double double portions of everything! You are wonderful”

AMEN! Thanks for booking my services, wishing you a beautiful and happy married life!
