Corina’s Wedding

Corina’s Wedding

I received a call from the CEO of Just as Planned Wedding/Event Planners regarding one of their clients eager to use my services for her big day.

A trial was set up where I met the ever smiling Corina for the first time, we discussed her skin concerns and her colour palette before trying out a few looks which she was pleased with. I was booked almost immediately.

On the wedding day I travelled down to her location in Kent where I set up and began on her mother in law and then her mum.

Starting on the bride, as usual, her skin was cleansed, hydrated and primed.

Her brows were lightly filled in with MAC brow pencil in Spiked and a bit of MAC eyeshadow in Swiss chocolate to soften the start of the brows. Then moving on to her eyes, as base I applied MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre. Using my pre-made MAC eye palette, I created a bronzed based look using the following eyeshadows – Embark, Bronze, Amber lights and Swiss chocolate. Finished off on the eyes by lining both the lids and waterline with MAC kohl pencil in Feline which was set with MAC eyeshadow in Carbon. Ardell Lashes in 120 added some glam to the eye look.

Foundation used was Lancome Teint idole ultra 24h in 13 and 14, Under eye concealer used was a mix of LA Girl Pro Conceal in Fawn and MAC Prolong wear concealer in NW40. This was set with Ben Nye loose powder in Topaz. The rest of the face was set with MAC blot powder in Deep dark.

Using MAC studio fix powder in NW58, I contoured her face and used my favorite Bronze/Gold highlighting powder – Becca Highlight powder in Topaz. Blush used – MAC Ambering Rose.

On her lips, I firstly lined with MAC lipliner in chestnut and used Dose of colour matte lip cream in Stone over it. Gloss used was MAC Vamplify in Spanking Haute. Loved this combination on her!

Just before her official photography session began, I applied a pink gloss on her lips which looked amazing in the pictures!

Hair was done by Adeola of Signature by Design.
