As promised I will be kicking off ‘What’s in my bridal kit’ series with my skin care and prep products.
Please note, I do not take all these products to jobs, as mentioned in my earlier post, I work across all ethnicities and skin types. Since makeup is not in the category of ‘one fits all’ , My kit is equipped to deal with several skin issues. From very dry, oily, blemishes, hyperpigmentation etc I require several types of skin care and prep to properly manage these types of skin.
It will be time consuming to actually speak about each of them so I’ve put links to the product sites where you can read in detail including the ingredients they contain.
I also need to mention that these are the products am comfortable working with, there are still thousands of products out there many people would swear by and recommend. A perfect example is the much hyped Milk of magnesia which most people use to combat oiliness, I am personally not a fan. I have tried it on myself and tested it on a few people but I still prefer my current products.
At the end of the day its all about finding what works for your skin and is healthy towards your skin. If you find it, then stick with it. Its not about following the latest trends which may not work for a lot of people. There will always be a ‘latest Product that will be hyped all over social media. There’s nothing wrong in getting a sample to test out, I do that alot but if it doesn’t work for you then don’t be hard-pressed to keep using it because everyone is using it. You will end up ruining your skin.
