Happy new year! Its been a while but I am back with new bridal writeup’s 🙂
I was approached by hairstylist and my good friend – Deborah Lola to help makeup her model on a photoshoot. It was a bridal inspired shoot and the images came out amazingly beautiful! With the amount of messages on what products I used, I decided to do a write up on how I created her look.
Her skin was cleansed using Bioderma Sensibio H2o and moisturised using embryolisse lait cream, this also acted as a primer.
Foundation used is my latest obsession – Aj crimson dual skin foundation. This foundation goes on like silk against the skin, love it. To conceal under her eyes – Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer was applied using a damp beauty blender. This was set using RCMA no colour loose powder and the rest of her face with MAC mineralise skin finish in dark.
To add some definition to her face, I contoured her cheekbones and hairline area using Colorblend contour pallet in Medium/Dark. Blush used was MAC blush in Breezy.
On her eyes, I used primarily Juvia’s place eyeshadow palettes in a mix of the masquerade palette and the nubian 2 palette. This was finished off with a liner and strip lashes from the Lash medley by Lapaige Trends.
The whole was finished off on the lips. I lined the entire lips with MAC lip pencil in Soar and the edges with chestnut also by MAC. I cannot remember the exact shade of lipstick I used as I mixed 2 or 3 colours from my custom made lip palette to get that exact shade.
Sophie (The model) looked absolutely Stunning! It was a pleasure seeing the images being reposted all over instagram by popular wedding profiles.
