Bayode’s Wedding

Bayode’s Wedding

Bayode contacted me almost a year ago, a trial was scheduled where we went through her skin regime and discussed her preferred look for the day.

On her wedding day I arrived at The Hilton Hotel to set up and began makeup on her mum first, then her younger sister while the hairstylist – Hair by Abike prepped the bride’s hair.

I then started on the bride, cleansing and moisturizing before priming with Smashbox Studio foundation primer.

Her brows were filled in with MAC brow pencil in spiked. On her eyelids, MAC paintpot in painterly was applied as base and a mixture of MAC swiss chocolate and embark was used to create a warm depth in the crease. On her lids was a mix on Milani Bella gold eyeshadow, MAC goldmine and amber light eyeshadow. I then lined with Inglot gel liner in 77 and finished off the eyes with 2 pairs of Ardell 120’s applied on each eye. We used just one but Bayode wanted more volume so I stacked another on top.

On her face, foundation used was Lancôme teint idole ultra 24h in shade 13 and 14 applied with a damp beauty blender sponge. I highlighted under her eyes with MAC prolong wear concealer in NW40, setting with a mix of Sasha buttercup loose setting powder and Ben nye topaz powder. I powdered the rest of the face with MAC blot powder and MAC MSF in Deep dark.

To add dimension to her face I contoured with MAC eyeshadow in embark and highlighted with a mix of Becca highlight powders in Topaz and Opal. Blush used was a mix of MAC blush in Ambering rose and Breezy.

The whole look was finished off by lining her lips with NYX slim pencil in dark brown and MAC lipstick in Peachstock and a clear gloss added to just the middle of the lids and softly blended out.

Her Gorgeous Dress!

Bayode simply loved the look and wouldn’t stop taking selfies lol!

For her second look, I deepened the crease with MAC eyeshadow in shadowy lady and Fig. On her lips, MAC Vino was used to line the lips and was finished off with MAC lipstick in Heroine.
