Ashley’s Wedding

Ashley! My Fabulous bride! She booked me early May 2016 without a trial and we never had one. She trusted me 100%.

We had a phone consultation nearer the wedding date to discuss her looks, I was booked for the whole day and 2 changes. A member of my beauty team was also booked to work on her bridesmaids.

On the wedding day I made my way to Channels Lodge, Essex. This was both the prep and ceremonial location. I checked in with my beauty team member before commencing work on Ashley.

After a quick cleanse of her face using Bioderma sensibio h20 and a spray of MAC fix +, I groomed her brows using MAC brow pencil in Spiked and a clear brow gel to set.

Ashley wanted a gold eye look softly smoked out. Main eyeshadows used was MAC eyeshadows in Amber lights, twinks, carbon, swiss chocolate and a hint of all that glitters.  The eye look was finished off with ingot gel liner in 77 and Ardell lashes in 120.

Her skin was normal but she had warned me of her tendency to get really oily on just her nose including sweating on her nose. With this information I primed the outer perimeters of her face with Smashbox photofinish primer and the inner perimeters including her nose with Becca ever matte poreless priming perfector.  Foundation used was Lancome Teint idole ultra 24hrs in a mix of 12 and 13.

I brightened under her eyes using NARS creamy concealer in Amande. This was set with Laura Mercier loose powder in translucent. The rest of her face was set using MAC studio fix powder in a mix of NW45 and NC50 for a layer of extra coverage.

Dimension was added to her face using Cover girl bronzer in Ebony and highlighted using Becca shimmering  skin perfector in Topaz. Blush used was MAC blush in Breezy.

To finish off the whole look I lined the outer perimeters of her lips with a mix of MAC lip liners in Chestnut and Vino. For lipstick I had initially started with a nude pink – MAC lipstick in half n half but Ashley wanted a bolder pink shade so I applied MAC lipstick in a mix of ”girl about town” and ”flat out fabulous” finished off with a clear lip gloss.

Ashley was a vision after her hair was finished off by Deborah lola, simply stunning!

Her look was changed for the evening reception but my camera battery went flat and I couldn’t take any images 🙁
