Aiasha’s Wedding

Aiasha is the CEO of Dream tresses who booked me some years back for her hair campaign shoot. She was so lovely to me and even gifted me some lovely hair after the shoot.

I was thrilled when she got back in contact to book me for her wedding without a trial. She hinted she wanted a very glamorous look incorporating glitters and had found the perfect glitter for it. Normally I’m not one to push for a trial but after hearing this I was happy she wanted to try the look first at a consultation session.

At the trial we both agreed to tone down on glitters as it was a little too much.

On the day of the wedding I made my way with the Hairstylist – Charis hair to her prep location at Horsely towers.

After hair was prepped and partly finished I began on the makeup. Aiasha has normal to dry skin so I began by cleansing and hydrating the skin.

Her eyebrows were filled in using Anastasia Beverly hills brow definer in Medium Brown followed by a clear brow gel to keep her brow hair in place.

Mac paint pot in Laying low was used to prep the eyelids to aid longevity of the eyeshadow. Eyeshadows used was primarily from the Violet Voss holy grail eyeshadow palette. To still give her a hint of glitter, I used my fingers to press in MAC reflects pearl all over the lid. This was finished off with ingot gel liner in 77 and strip lashes.

I used Embryolisse lait cream as her skin base before applying NARS all day luminous foundation in a mix of New guinea and Trinidad. NARS creamy concealer in Amande was applied with a damp beauty blender sponge under her eyes and set with Laura mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. The rest of the face was set sparingly with MAC studio fix powder in NC55.

To add definition to the face I contoured using Covergirl bronzer in Ebony bronze and added highlights using Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz. Blush used was MAC blush in Ambering rose.
